Portugal is an incredibly varied country, rich with rugged coastlines, rolling countryside, palaces, mountains, and bustling cities. In this experience, you will explore several parts of Portugal’s vibrant identity, gaining an in-depth perspective on some of the country’s most renowned landmarks.

To begin, you will wander the streets of Nazaré, where traditional fishing practices continue to this day, steeped in history and culture.

Your path will then wind to a viewpoint above Nazaré Canyon. This fascinating topographical landmark is famous for producing enormous waves, which can measure up to 30 meters tall. As the waves swell and break, try to spot surfers, who may be preparing to catch a wave in the treacherous waters.

Before leaving Nazaré, you will stop for a delicious lunch, packed with local flavors and specialities. After lunch, we will head to the city of Alcobaça, where the magnificent Monastery of Alcobaça awaits. We will take in the monastery’s intricate Gothic architecture while we immerse ourselves in its fascinating history and cultural impact.

As the experience winds down, we will stop for an original regional tasting, further exploring Portugal’s culture with our tastebuds. Then, having visited several iconic landmarks and eaten our fill, we will return to Ericeira, carrying priceless memories with us.
