These Terms & Conditions govern the contractual relationship between O House Ericeira Hills and any individual or entity ("Guest") who books our Crochet Retreat package.

Retreat Timing

• 6 nights / 5 days

By making a reservation, the Guest agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. DEFINITIONS

• Retreat: A program including accommodation and a range of activities.

• Reservation: The process by which the Guest requests and confirms participation in the Retreat.

• Reservation Confirmation: The document (electronic or printed) sent to the Guest that confirms the acceptance of the reservation by O House.

• Guest: Any natural person or legal entity booking the Retreat.

• Contract: This set of Terms & Conditions, the Reservation Confirmation, and any additional communications or attachments that form part of the agreement.

2. RESERVATION

2.1. Reservation Process:

• Reservations can be made via email or phone.

• The reservation is considered binding once the Guest pays the initial deposit and receives the Reservation Confirmation from O House.

2.2. Third-Party Reservations:

• If a reservation is made on behalf of others, the person booking guarantees that they are authorized to do so and is responsible for all payments and obligations arising from the booking.

2.3. Reservation Information:

• The Guest must review and verify that all details (names, dates, retreat option, etc.) in the Reservation Confirmation are correct.

• Any errors or necessary changes must be reported immediately to info@beachhouseouteirinho.com.

3. GUEST OBLIGATIONS

3.1. Documentation:

• The Guest must have all necessary personal documentation required to participate in the Retreat (A passport or residence ID is required).

• The Guest must complete the waiver and photo release form to participate in the retreat.

3.2. Travel Insurance Recommendation:

• We recommend that the Guest obtains travel insurance to cover any incident that may occur during the Retreat.

3.3. Compliance with House Rules:

• The Guest agrees to adhere to the internal house rules and respect the guidance provided by our staff during scheduled activities.

4. PRICE & PAYMENT TERMS

4.1. Retreat Pricing:

• The total price will be clearly stated during the booking process.

• The price includes accommodation, art workshops, experiences, airport transfers, meals, and any additional services specified in the offer.

4.2. Payment Method:

• A deposit of 25% of the total price is required at the time of booking.

• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the Retreat.

• For reservations made less than 30 days in advance, full payment is required at the time of booking.

4.3. Late Payment:

• Late payments may incur administrative fees. Failure to complete the payment within the specified time frame may result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation.

• If an installment fails and is not resolved within 7 days, your spot may be cancelled under standard cancellation policy.

5. CANCELLATION & MODIFICATION POLICY

5.1. Guest Cancellation:

• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@beachhouseouteirinho.com, including relevant Guest details.

• Refund Schedule:

• Cancellation up to 60 days before the Retreat starts: A full refund of the deposit will be issued.

• Cancellation between 60 and 30 days before the Retreat starts: The initial deposit will not be refunded. There is no additional charge.

• Cancellation with less than 30 days’ notice: No refund will be provided (100% of the total amount will be charged).

5.2 Extraordinary Circumstances (EU PTD-Aligned)

• If unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances affect travel or retreat operations, you may choose:

  • A full refund, or

  • A retreat voucher valid for 12 months.

5.3. Rebooking Option:

• If the Guest needs to reschedule or change the date of their reservation, it will be subject to availability for the upcoming retreats scheduled throughout the year.

• Rebooking is only possible for future retreats and depends on availability.

• The first rebooking is free of charge; any additional rebookings will incur a fee of €50 per person.

5.4. Cancellation by O House:

• O House reserves the right to cancel or modify the Retreat due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control.

• If O House must cancel:

  • Guests receive a full refund or free transfer to a future retreat date.

  • O House is not responsible for airfare, transportation, or external costs.

  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days.

6. TRANSFER OF RESERVATION

• The Guest may transfer their reservation to another person up to 5 days before the retreat, at no charge.

7. FORCE MAJEURE

• Neither O House nor the Guest shall be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond their reasonable control, such as natural disasters, government actions, or other unforeseeable events.

• In the event of such circumstances, O House will endeavor to offer reasonable alternatives or refund the amounts paid, less any costs incurred.

8. LIABILITY

• O House is committed to providing professional and diligent services; however, we shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from events beyond our control or due to third-party service providers.

• The Guest is responsible for their personal belongings and must follow all safety recommendations and instructions during the Retreat.

9. DATA PROTECTION

• Any personal data collected during the booking process will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and used solely for the management of the Retreat.

10. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

• This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal

• Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement, including but not limited to issues regarding bookings, activities, and services provided, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Portugal.

11. ACTIVITIES AND EXPERIENCES

11.1. Standard Offerings:

• Daily Crochet Workshops: These activities are provided on a daily basis as part of the retreat package.

• Guided Nature Hikes: These activities are provided once each as part of the retreat package.

• Day Trip to Sintra: This activity is provided as part of the retreat package.

• Wine Tasting: This activity is provided as part of the retreat package.

• In addition to these, we offer a broad range of other activities.

11.2. O House Experience Options:

• Guests will have the opportunity to select from a variety of experiences under the “O House Experience” label. Examples of available options include, but are not limited to:

• A Guided Nature Experience (subject to availability)

• Outdoor Adventure Experiences (subject to availability), such as:

• Mountain Biking: Cliff Top Ride

• São Julião Bouldering

• Private Bouldering Lesson

• The specific O House Experience offered will be determined at the time of booking based on availability and guest preference.
